Undergraduate Admissions
Admissions oversees the processes of student admittance to the University and receives and reviews all official documentation of prior high school and college credit.

UTA HOSTS!
Participate in the University-wide student mentoring program. New students (mentees) are matched with returning students (mentors), by major, school or college.

Freshman Interest Groups
A Maverick Scholar is a student who actively participates in a Freshmen Interest Group or “FIG.” A Maverick Scholars are new students who chooses to join together with other freshmen who share the same major or area of interest.

Freshman Leaders on Campus
Members of FLOC quickly get involved in the University through networking with campus leaders, collaborating with other organizations and developing leadership skills.

Leadership Center
This office provides education and programming that cultivate student leadership development. Members of the Leadership Academy participate in specialized academic instruction, organizational involvement, community service, leadership training, and networking.

SGO supports student learning through active participation of students in organizations, representative bodies, and leadership opportunties.

Campus Recreation
Be active. Be healthy. Be involved! Campus Recreation offers a variety of Intramural Sports and Sports Clubs, wellness programming, and UTA spirit groups. They also manage a large outdoor sport Fields Complex and the newly completed $34.5 million Maverick Activities Center renovation.

This office organizes a diverse variety of cultural programs and student organizations for all students at the University.

The Division of Student Affairs oversees a variety of departments, programs, and services that engage students in co-curricular experiences that support and enhance their academic pursuits.

Office of Student Conduct
Judicial Affairs engages in education regarding standards for student behavior, personal honesty, and integrity. They also oversee procedures used in the resolution of student disciplinary allegations.

Student Publications
Student publications produces the student-run newspaper The Shorthorn, and provides a large number of employment and career development opportunities to students.

There are seven libraries available to students. Library staff can help you in person or online and electronic resources are available online 24/7.
