Parents and Guests
The University of Texas at Arlington wishes to keep parents informed about their college student’s experience. Accordingly, we have designed a program to acquaint parents with the University and all it has to offer. Parents have the chance to ask questions and familiarize themselves with the campus so that they can better appreciate the college experience of their student.
The parent program occurs simultaneously with the new student program; however, there is ample opportunity for both parents and students to attend certain sessions together so that they may each discuss their experiences.
- Parent/Guest Attendance Fee: $20.00 per parent/guest
Parents and guests are welcome to stay overnight on campus. There is a $40.00 overnight housing fee per person. Please keep in mind that overnight accommodations are in residence halls on campus and we cannot guarantee that male and female guests attending together can be placed in the same room.
