Transfer Student Advising
Although there is not a University-wide orientation session for non-freshmen transfer students, they must meet with an academic advisor prior to registering for classes. Once admitted to the University, transfer students should contact the department of their program of study (major) and make an appointment with an academic advisor for information regarding degree requirements and assistance in planning their class schedule.
Class Registration for Transfer Students
Typically, new transfer students will be able to register for fall courses beginning in April. Students who haven’t met with their advisor will be unable to register until they have done so. Visit the Office of Records (Registrar) website to view upcoming registration timetables.
If you would like a campus tour, you may visit the Campus Tour website or call them at 817.272.8687 . Campus tours are provided Monday-Friday at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. only.
