Sample Schedule for New Maverick Transfer Orientation
8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Check-in, University Center, Bluebonnet Ballroom Foyer
9:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
Morning sessions will include a welcome, sessions on college finances and community standards, and opportunities for you to ask questions of current transfer students and learn what it means to be a transfer student at UT Arlington
11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Join us for lunch and an opportunity to get to know your new classmates!
12:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
In the afternoon you will have the chance to meet with representatives from your college/school, discover the different involvement opportunities and campus resources that are available for you, and learn about the campus registration system, MyMav
3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Any student that has met with an advisor will be allowed to register for their classes at this time. Students that have not met with an advisor can complete any necessary campus business before leaving.
