The Parent & Family Center sells Maverick Mom, Dad, and Grandparent t-shirts. These can be purchased in office B150K of the University Center, Monday – Friday, 8-5. Cash, check, or credit card is accepted, but we do not take online orders or ship the t-shirts.

Care Packages
It’s no secret that college students love to get mail! Sending a thoughtful note and a few of your student’s favorite treats is a great way to show how much you care. Parents often send their students care packages during midterms or final exams, on their birthday, or just because.
The Parent & Family Center does not sell care packages directly, but you can purchase care packages here:
- Student Alumni Association MAVPacks are available during final exams, and benefit Alumni Association student scholarships.
- Remember that you can always build your own!
General Merchandise
If you are looking for general UTA merchandise, the UTA Bookstore has a wide selection of apparel and gifts. Remember that your Parent & Family Association ID card gets you a 10 percent discount on these items.
*Please note that the 10 percent discount applies to apparel and gifts only. It does not apply to books.
Quick Tip
If your student needs a part-time job, encourage them to look for employment on campus. On campus supervisors recognize that a student's first priority is school and are willing to work with class and study schedules.
