WNBA Game Day Parking

Four parking areas will be used on game days when the Dallas Wings play at the College Park Center. These include College Park and Maverick Parking Garages, Lots 39, CPW, and F10,

Upcoming games are September 2 at 7:30 p.m., September 4 at 7:30 p.m., and September 11 at 3:30 p.m.

CPW (east of the Business Building), Lot 39 west (Spaniolo Drive at West Street), parts of F10 (south of the Business Building), the Maverick Parking Garage, and the ground floor of Park South garage are reserved for game day parking starting at the times noted below:

  • College Park South must be cleared 5 hours prior to tip-off.
  • Lot CPW must be cleared 5 hours prior to tip-off.
  • Lot 39 west will be reserved starting 5 hours prior to tip-off
  • Parts of F10 will be reserved starting 5 hours before tip-off
  • Maverick Parking Garage will be reserved starting 3 hours prior to tip-off.

Paid parking for fans will be in effect in Park South, Park Central, F10, and Maverick Garage. Park North and F13 are by pre-purchase only.  Current permit holders can use alternative parking locations listed below.  Gate attendants require UTA ID and active parking permit for entry into alternative lots.

Faculty/Staff Permit Holders:

Faculty/Staff permit holders who normally park in event lots must use alternative parking on paid-parking event days.  Game day alternative parking includes any faculty/staff lot or any student lot not used for event parking.

student Permit Holders:

Student lot permit holders who normally park in event lots must use alternative parking on paid-parking event days.  Game day alternative parking includes any student lot not used for event parking.

Residential permit holders:

The Lofts Residents:  You do not need to evacuate the garage prior to this event.  To access the parking garages during the paid-parking events:

  • Use the Center Street entrances (paid parking entrances)
  • Identify yourself to the parking attendant as a resident of The Lofts (Must show your student ID)
  • Park in your permitted area.  Your reserved spaces are a “No Event Parking” designation.
  • If space is not available in your permitted spaces, park in other areas of the garage where spaces is available until the event is over, then move your vehicle to the permitted area after the event.  You can also use your student ID to access Lot 38 (North of Arlington Hall) until the event is over.
  • Your visitors will not be allowed to park in the parking garages or paid-parking lots during paid-parking events without paying the parking attendant.

Vandergriff, Arlington & Brazos Residents:  You do not need to evacuate the lot prior to these events.

 To access the parking garages during the paid-parking events:

  • Use lot 38 (requires UTA student ID), F11, or F12 as primary lots.
  • Alternatively, use the Center Street entrances to College Park North or Central (paid parking entrances)
  • Identify yourself to the parking attendant as a resident of your community. (Must show your student ID)
  • Park in your permitted area.  Your reserved spaces are “Event Parking Allowed” designation.
  • If space is not available in your permitted spaces, park in other areas of the garage where spaces is available until the event is over, then move your vehicle to the permitted area after the event.
  • Your visitors will not be allowed to park in the parking garages or paid-parking lots during paid-parking events without paying the parking attendant.

KC Hall and Lipscomb Residents:  You DO need to vacate lot CPW at least 5 hours before tipoff on WNBA game days.  Vehicles remaining will be towed at owners expense and receive a $50 citation.

  • College Park Garages and other event lots will be used for paid-parking events. 
  • CPW and Park South will remain closed through game time on game days.
  • Use Lipscomb East, Lipscomb South, KC north and KC south lots as alternative parking. Must have active UTA permit and show gate attendant your student ID.
