Special topics on hybrid vehicles: reliability, diagnostics, non-electric hybrids, and certain customer issues
Abstract: Special issues on hybrid vehicles (particularly hybrid electric) are discussed. Overall reliability and availability issues are discussed from a whole system level perspective. Fault diagnostics issues are covered with particular focus on power electronics. Non-electric hybrid vehicle architecture is also discussed to some extent. Some after market customer issues are considered. |
