Dr. Michael Phillips: "Higher Education, The Legacy of Racism, and the Battle for Free Speech"

The Philosophy Club along with UTA Libraries and The Progressive Student Union are hosting historian Michael Phillips, who is an important voice on the importance of academic freedom, tenure and the need for DEI programs in academia. He will be speaking at 4pm on Thursday April 20^th in the 6^th Floor Parlor of UTA Central Library. His talk is "Higher Education, The Legacy of Racism, and The Battle for Free Speech."
