Metal particles, usually crystalline, in
the nano size range, 1-100 nm, play an important role
in materials science. The preparation and organisation of such particles calls
for advanced analytical tools to determine size, composition, stability and
spatial organisation. TEM techniques play the most important roles in this
work. Since more than 25 years researchers at
