X-Ray Study of Young Supernova Remnants

Supernovae and their remnants are a major force to affect chemical and dynamical evolution of interstellar space.
The study of supernova remnants covers a broad range of astrophysics such as supernova nucleosynthesis, stellar evolution history, cosmic-ray acceleration, interstellar chemical/density structure, neutron stars, and cosmology.
I will present examples of the study of young supernova remnants using observations taken by modern X-ray telescopes on board Chandra, XMM-Newton, and Suzaku.
