The Quantum Design PPMS (Physical
Property Measurement System) is a unique measurement system providing
the user a variety of automated measurement capability. The coming
facility has a wide temperature range of (1.9-400K) and magnetic fields
up to 14 Tesla. The measurement applications include Heat capacity,
magnetometry, electro-transport, and thermal transport. This facility
will enhance our research capability several months later. (PPMS
