School Groups
Do you want to inspire a classroom of young scientists?
Are you involved in a scout troup, club, or organization looking for an adventure?
Do you know some aspiring astronauts?
Are you interested in motivating your staff or students to think way, way, way out of the box?
The Planetarium at UT Arlington provides the perfect group setting to educate, entertain, and inspire. Just follow these easy steps to arrange for your field trip.
Arranging a Field Trip
Step 1: Choose between a public show or a private event
Do you want to bring your group to a scheduled, public show? Or reserve a private show just for your group? Either way, the Planetarium
staff can work with you.
Step 2: Select a show and a date and time
If you chose a public show, select from among the currently scheduled public shows. Groups of 10 or more cost $3 per person with a
reservation. If you chose a private event, visit our online Show Book for our complete catalog of shows from which you can choose.
Private shows are only $3 per person (minimum of 25 people or $75). Second shows can be added on the same day for only $2 per person extra. Or
customize your own presentation for a one-of-a-kind multi-media event.
