Installment Plan (Not Available for Winter Sessions)

(Academic Partnership students must visit www.uta.edu/academicpartnerships and are responsible for understanding the policies and requirements unique to this program.)

A student is activated on the Installment Plan by agreeing to the Registrant's Responsibilities and by paying one third (1/3) of their current session registration balance.

Installment plans will be posted to student accounts the week prior to the first class day of the session.

If your tuition, fees, and charges increase for any reason, including schedule adjustments or residency status changes, the new higher total will be divided into the remaining payments. The new balance will appear in your MyMav Student Center account. The service charge for the Installment Plan is $10 for each installment. There is a max of $20 per term that will be added to your account.

Installment Plan payment due dates are shown in your MyMav Student Center account after installments have been posted. The Spring and Fall term regular sessions have three due dates.

By using either the Installment Plan or an Enrollment Loan, you will NOT be eligible to earn a Designated Tuition Discount.

The following is a quotation from Texas Education Code 54.007, and applies to installment payments due:

"A student who fails to make full payment of tuition and fees, including any incidental fees, by the due date may be prohibited from registering until full payment is made. A student who fails to make payment prior to the end of the semester may be denied credit for the work done that semester."
