Fall Term 2009
Spring Term 2009 (Winter Intersession and Regular Spring Session)
(Academic Partnership students must visit www.uta.edu/academicpartnerships and are responsible for understanding the policies and requirements unique to this program.)
UT Arlington recommends Direct Deposit for refunds of registration charges. It is the most secure, reliable and convenient method for receiving your money.
It is the student's responsibility to officially withdraw if they do not plan to attend after registering. Students will not be automatically dropped for non-attendance.
Repayment of certain types of financial aid administered through the University may be required as the result of dropping classes or withdrawing. Contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.
Withdrawal PRIOR TO the first official University class day:
All students withdrawing for any reason on or after August 24, 2009, are financially responsible for their pro-rata share of tuition, fees, and charges. Section 54.006 of the Texas Education Code dictates the refund and collection percentages that apply to withdrawing students. Students who withdraw with financial responsibility and subsequently fail to pay tuition, fees and charges will be reported to National Credit Bureaus and subject to additional fees and collection efforts, as allowed by law.
