Chapter 2 Student Conduct and Discipline
In computing the time within which any action is required to be taken or performed under the provisions of this chapter, a weekday is Monday through Friday, excluding any day that is an official holiday of the University shall not be counted and the day of the act or event from which the time is computed shall not be included. A day is a calendar day.
Service of every written notice, request, or decision required by this chapter may be made by delivering a copy of the document to the person to be served either in person or by certified mail, return receipt requested to the address appearing in the Registrar's records.
If the accused fails to appear at the time and place scheduled for a disciplinary hearing, the hearing shall proceed in the absence of the accused.
