Professor Ignagni's main topics and areas of interests are the U.S. Supreme Court, Judicial Politics, and Constitutional Law. He received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University and has published numerous articles in such journals as the American Journal of Political Science, Political Research Quarterly, American Politics Quarterly, and Judicature. He has received four teaching awards (including his membership in the Academy of Distinguished Teachers). He has also served as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs for the College of Liberal Arts for three years.
