Defense Bar Survey Results
In 1995 the State Bar of Texas Committee on the Provision of Legal Services to the Poor in Criminal Matters conducted a survey of a random sample of criminal defense lawyers in Texas. The Committee employed the total design method (Dillman 1978) to administer the survey. The response rate to this survey was 46% (3,000 surveys were mailed and 1,376 surveys were returned).
