State Bar of Texas Legal Services to the Poor in Criminal Matters Committee
Judge Survey Results
In 1998 the State Bar of Texas Committee on the Provision of Legal Services to the Poor in Criminal Matters conducted a survey of a random sample of judges in Texas. The Committee employed the total design method (Dillman 1978) to administer the survey. The response rate to this survey was 58.4% (846 surveys were mailed and 494 surveys were returned).
