National Legal Aid & Defender Association - The National Legal Aid and Defender Association (NLADA) is the
oldest and largest national, non-profit membership organization devoting all of its resources to advocating equal access to justice for all Americans. Founded in 1911, it champions effective legal assistance for the poor and serves as a collective voice for both civil legal services and indigent defense services throughout the nation.

United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit (includes Texas) - This site contains information on the Court's calendars, an archive of opinions from 1991, recent decisions, and other information.

United States Department of Justice - Home of the US Attorney General .  This deparment is charged with enforcing the nation's laws.  You can also find information on the Office of Justice Programs and the Bureau of Justice Assistance which both have programs related to indigent criminal defense.

United States Supreme Court Decisions - Legal Infromation Institute (LII), Cornell - The Legal Information Institute offers Supreme Court opinions under the auspices of Project Hermes, the court's electronic-dissemination project. This archive contains (or will soon contain) all opinions of the court issued since May of 1990.
