Special Events Center Campus Forum

Artist's Rendering of a Proposed Special Events CenterPresident James D. Spaniolo, Vice President John Hall, Athletic Director Pete Carlon, and Student Congress President Casey Townsend will host the campus community in a discussion of the proposed Special Events Center at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, in the UC Rosebud Theatre.

The forum offers faculty, staff, students, and alumni an update of the facility planning process.  Tentative details of the Special Events Center—including approximate size, cost, floor plans, and proposed location—will be discussed, and preliminary artist renderings of the interior and exterior will be shown.  A question-and-answer session will follow.

In January, President Spaniolo announced plans to pursue development of the Special Events Center, which would accommodate athletic, academic, and cultural events for UTA and the surrounding community.
