Come to the PIG! (Purposeful Idea Gallery)

Join us as we kick off planning for UT-Arlington's next Quality Enhancement Plan with a PIG! The Purposeful Idea Gallery will be a "come and go" event where you can come, get inspiration, and share ideas related to enhancing student learning at UT-Arlington. Circulate through the DFA suite at your own pace, interacting with provocative quotes, revealing data, big ideas, and your fellow UTA citizens. We hope you will leave feedback, ideas, and challenges of your own. The PIG happens May 14th from 12-4 PM in the DFA Suite #415, Central Library 4th Floor. More information can be found here, at our PIG Flyer.

STUDENT FEEDBACK SURVEYS

Student Feedback Surveys close Friday, May 8 at 11 pm.  How can you improve the response rate on your Student Feedback Surveys (SFS)?  For online courses, Dr. Martha Mann suggests letting students know that ther feedback helps (1) to shape revisions of the course; (2) the actual survey findings determine which courses are delivered online (versus face-to-face delivery or no course offering); (3) which faculty members are appointed to teach the courses; and (4) how the faculty member might improve his or her teaching style. FAQs available at http://www.uta.edu/ier/Surveys/sfs/faculty.php

Final grades

The deadline to post final grades is May 19, 2015, 12 noon.
