Research Enhancement Program
Research Enhancement Program grants are given specifically for the support of research and professional creative activity (see Program Guidelines). Proposals presenting viable prospects for continuation through outside funding after an initial support period by REP are especially encouraged. As a condition of acceptance of an REP award, the recipient is required to submit a grant proposal to an external funding agency within one year after the REP funding period ends.
The REP grants will be limited to $10,000 per awardee of which no more than $5,000 may be for faculty summer salary. REP grants may be requested to provide capital research equipment, maintenance and operations moneys, salary for graduate research assistants, wages for hourly employees, and research travel.
All applications to the Research Enhancement Program must be submitted online via the Online Proposal Submission System.
To assure that REP grants will be reviewed in a timely manner, all deadlines for the current cycle must be honored. For a detailed timetable, please refer to the current Program Guidelines.
