Research Enhancement Program
Research Enhancement Program grants are given specifically for the support of research and professional creative activity (see Program Guidelines). Proposals presenting viable prospects for continuation through outside funding after an initial support period by REP are especially encouraged. As a condition of acceptance of an REP award, the recipient is required to submit a grant proposal to an external funding agency within one year after the REP funding period ends.
The REP grants will be limited to $10,000 per one faculty awardee, and $15,000 for two or more awardees on the same proposal, of which no more than $5,000 may be for faculty summer salary. REP grants may be requested to provide capital research equipment, maintenance and operations funds, salary for graduate research assistants, wages for hourly employees, and research travel.
REP Submission Deadline:
December 1, 2015, 4:00 PM
To assure that REP grants will be reviewed in a timely manner, all deadlines for the current cycle must be honored. For a detailed timetable, please refer to the current Program Guidelines. For information about the review process, refer to the REP/FDL Review Process. Applicants are encouraged to finalize their proposals at least 48 hours in advance of the published deadline.
To submit a Research Enhancement Grant program application, please log into the Online Proposal Submission System using your UT Arlington NetID and Password. The system will be open as of November 2, 2015.
