UT Arlington Flag Raising
Monday, March 27, 2006

Under a mild windy Texas sky, University of Texas at Arlington President James Spaniolo, cheered on by students, alumni, faculty and staff, help raised the new UT Arlington flag in the Library mall.

The new flag joins the United States and Texas flags and located in the center of the campus, adjacent to a Texas State Historical Marker. The flag encompasses the new UT Arlington logo with a blue capital 'A' outline in orange with a beveled blue and white star outlined in orange. The flag raising continues the university new branding initiative launched in February 2006.
