UTA FORT WORTH CENTER OFFERS SNEAK PREVIEW TO SELECTED MEMBERS OF THE MEDIA

ARLINGTON – The University of Texas at Arlington is offering a sneak preview of its new location in downtown Fort Worth to interested members of the media. The UT Arlington Fort Worth Center headquarters and classrooms will be located in the historic Santa Fe Freight Building, 1401 Jones St. The official grand opening for the new location will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007. However, this exclusive sneak preview, including a walk-through with Dr. Mike West, executive director of UT Arlington Fort Worth Center, is being offered on Jan. 16 or 17, at your convenience. Just in time for spring classes, Santa Fe Station will offer a number of graduate degree programs designed specifically for working professionals.

UT Arlington Fort Worth Center Santa Fe Station will occupy 21,000 square feet in the historic building. Approximately 15,000 square feet on the first floor is being remodeled into classrooms, library and student areas. The second floor will house faculty and administrative offices.
