What is RSS?

RSS is an abbreviation for Really Simple Syndication and describes a standard for Web publishers to syndicate content. Almost any kind of content may be distributed in this manner, and there are RSS feeds for virtually every subject. As a user, you may "subscribe" to an RSS feed using a software application called a "feed reader" and easily receive frequently updated Web content.

Subscribing

You may subscribe to an RSS feed by supplying the feed's URL to your RSS feed reader application. An RSS feed reader, also known as a feed reader, a news reader, or a news aggregator, may be a stand-alone desktop application or a browser based service. There are many readers available, and some are free. See below.

To subscribe to a feed, right click on one of the RSS icons and select "Copy Shortcut" or "Copy Link Location" to copy the URL of that feed. Then paste this link into your news reader by following the instructions given for that application. Once this process of subscribing has been completed, you will automatically receive updated content with links to the original source through your reader as it becomes available.

If you have an account with Yahoo! or Google, you may subscribe simply by clicking on one of the respective buttons and following the instructions.
