Put some profit on your plate

Alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends can now buy license plates that feature the UTA logo. The recently redesigned specialty plates cost an additional $30, but $22 of that comes back to the University for need-based scholarships. The application to purchase the plates may be downloaded through the Texas Department of Transportation Web site. Visit and click on The University of Texas at Arlington link. UTA License PlateOr pick up an application at the tax assessor-collector’s office. Plates take approximately two weeks to process.  UTA must sell 1,000 license plates before Sept. 1 or its participation in the program will be eliminated.
