Step 1: Set up an account today
New (10/14/05): Users on campus can now register themselves for a personal account without going through the administrator. To register, users should visit the ResearchResearch website and then click the link on the right hand side ³Apply for a personal account².
Faculty, Staff and Students of UT Arlington are all eligible to use ResearchResearch.
Step 3: Start Searching
The information on the ResearchResearch site is stored in three interlinked databases:
- FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
Provides a detailed abstract if the opportunity including details on eligibility requirements, deadline, the original text of the request for proposal (where available); and links to the application form, specific link to the sponsor's web site and contact information for the program director.
The Funding opportunities database has been designed to be user-friendly for occasional users and offers complex search options for regular users. Opportunities can be browsed by Sponsors, by discipline, type of sponsor, purpose of award, by deadline, eligibility, etc.
- SPONSORS
Include the objectives, eligibility requirements and application procedures of specific sponsors along with relevant links to the sponsor's web pages. The sponsors database can be browsed by discipline, type of sponsor, purpose of award, deadline, eligibility, etc.
- NEWS
The news database provides up to date information on current U.S. federal funding, legislation, regulations, and agency updates. ResearchResearch also provides daily news from over 30 countries around the world, plus in-depth analysis from their own reporting staff and comment from leading figures in the global research community.
At this time, you must be on a UTA networked computer to access ResearchResearch. Remote login is not yet available.
