The University of Texas at Arlington is dedicated to supporting the education and research mission of the University while maintaining compliance with Federal and State animal care principles, guidelines, and regulations.The University of Texas Arlington’s Animal Care and Use Program encompass all animal use by the University for research, testing, and education.
At UT Arlington, Animal Subject Research is supported by three main parties: Research Administration, The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and members of the University community who use animals for research.

Reporting Deficiencies in Animal Care Treatment
Complaints or concerns regarding the care and use of research animals or charges of animal abuse should be made directly to the Office of Research Administration either verbally (817-272-3723) or in writing at iacuc@uta.edu. Concerns may also be addressed to the chairperson of the IACUC at iacuchair@uta.edu or the Animal Facility Manager/Veterinarian Technician at acf@uta.edu
