1983 Served as a consultant for the Institute of the American West, Conference on Indian Self-Rule: Fifty Years Under the Indian Reorganization Act.
1976-1999 Appointed a member of the Region 7 National Archives Advisory Council. This Council consisted of representatives served by the Archives Branches of the Federal Archives and Records Centers in Kansas City, Denver, and Fort Worth.
1976-1999 I have referred journal articles for publication in the Western Historical Quarterly, Oregon Historical Society, Pacific Historical Review, and the American Indian Quarterly, and the American Indian Culture and Research Journal.
