Collaborative Funding Network
If you are interested in joining The Collaborative Partnership click here.
The Collaborative Funding Network is expected to be pushed to The Collaborative Partnership for public use by September 1st, 2006. Below, are screen shots of the prototype CFN at The University of Texas at Arlington.
The CFN uses remote authentication so users do not need to remember any new user names and passwords, they will use the user name and passwords of their institution to authenticate themselves and then portal to the CFN as an authorized user.
By utilizing daily downloads of the funding opportunities from grants.gov, the Collaborative Funding Network (CFN) provides individuals one place to find collaborators and related funding opportunities along with the ability to assign roles, post collaborations sought after and openly communicate. This ability allows experts to easily establish collaborative working groups with experts within or outside their own institution including any related resources necessary to pursue specific funding opportunities. The communication and exchange can be organized at the individual, University, University System and State levels as well as by geographic location within the state.
To start, find the latest funding opportunities and related collaborative research resources by entering a Keyword or selecting a Research Cluster.
