UTARI bridges the gap between academic research and product development and is a major source of research expenditures for UT Arlington. We are the center of gravity for commercialization of research and university-industry consortia in the North Texas area. The High Energy Physics group is dedicated to fundamental research at the highest energy scales through participation in experiments at the world’s most advanced accelerators (DØ at Fermilab and ATLAS at CERN). Learn more >

The Center for Renewable Energy Science and Technology (CREST) tocoordinates research, development, and technology transfer in the area of renewableenergy at the University of Texas at Arlington. Learn more >

The Nanotechnology Research & Education Center (NanoFab) is an interdisciplinary resource open to scientists within and outside of the University. Research activities are conducted through mutually-beneficial associations of chemistry, electrical engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering, materials science and physics faculty, graduate students and research assistants at UTA, as well as collaborative efforts with investigators at other universities and in the private sector. Learn more >

UT Arlington Optical Medical Imaging Lab at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. The Medical Imaging Center’s state-of-the-art equipment will provide a catalyst to major collaborative projects involving UT Arlington and UT Dallas and UT Southwestern faculty members and clinicians who will occupy offices and laboratories in the building. Learn more >
