The University of Texas at Arlington

Staff Advisory Council

Your Voice Is Important

OUR MISSION: SAC serves as a representative body that strives to: improve University operations, develop a sense of community, and enhance the work environment for the staff at UT Arlington.

OUR VISION:
Advocating for a positive work environment and richer quality of life for staff as a working partner for the University and community

ABOUT SAC:
The Staff Advisory Council (SAC) is an elected group of staff members across UT Arlington who serve as representatives of the staff to the University Administration. The SAC is an integral part of the policy-making arm of the University with elected members of the Council representing the needs and desires of each constituency.

Meetings are held at 3 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in the Student Congress Chambers*, located in the lower level of the University Center. Participation as an elected Representative or an Alternate in the Council is very important; however, all employees are encouraged to attend the meetings. Working together, we can make a difference in the life of the UTA Community.

If you are interested in becoming a SAC representative, click here for more information about the election process.
