Safe Haven Volunteer Day

Saturday, March 31, 2012
10 a.mm. to 2:30 p.m.
Safe Haven
of Tarrant County

Safe Haven aims to change the lives of women and children affected by domestic violence every day.  On March 31st, SAC's Outreach Committee will lead an activity for the children from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and then serve lunch to all from noon to 1p.m. at the Arlington Shelter.

Please fill out the application and background release form if you are interested, which is available by clicking here.  A background check must be done before volunteering.  Submit completed volunteer forms to kmoffett@safehaventc.org.  Space is limited to 20 volunteers and a maximum of 10 volunteers will help with each event.  Please also contact Joanna Ng at joannang@uta.edu and specify which event you’d prefer to participate in if you can only help with one.

You’ll be notified closer to March 31st which activity you’ll be helping with and a meeting place and time.  Thanks for doing your part to help STOP Domestic Violence.
