A Continuing Nursing Education event

Call for Posters
Posters showcasing nursing research, evidence-based projects, or teaching strategies will be on display for the nursing continuing education event "Therapeutic and Ethical Implications for Nursing Practice".
The Genomics Translational Research Lab at University of Texas – Arlington, College of Nursing invites submissions of poster abstracts for this event.
Posters on any aspect of genetics or genomics in nursing practice are welcome and may be research reports, literature reviews, or evidence-based practice projects. Presenters may cover a topic in general terms or in detail. The topic can but does not need to include Second Life, simulation, virtual worlds, or online education or training.
If you would like to display a poster, send the following to Dr. Patricia Newcomb at pnewcomb@uta.edu by Wednesday, February 29, 2012:
- Contact person: One contact person must be designated for each submission. This person is responsible for sharing information with others involved with the poster. Please indicate if this person's email address can be released to attendees for communication regarding the poster content.
- Authors: All authors' names must be listed with the submission. Additional authors cannot be added after the poster has been submitted.
- Poster Title: The poster title must be simple, clean and not longer than 60 characters
- Abstract: Description of poster, no longer than 250 words.
Posters will be due Tuesday, April 10, 2012
To display your poster in Second Life:
- Send your poster file in PDF or PPT format to Sarah Jones at sajones@gmail.com. Sarah will upload your poster image to Second Life for display at the event Exhibit Hall.
