Troubleshooting: "Crashing"
- Did your Second Life software suddenly close?
- Did your screen turn gray and unresponsive?
- Did you get some message about being logged out?
- Did you find that for some reason, people around you look like they're typing for a long time?
Those are the signs that you have "crashed".
This is not uncommon, and it's usually caused by things out of your control. The network connection might be bad. Or Second Life graphics might have overwhelmed your computer.
Just log back in. You might also check your Second Life viewer preferences. Here are some suggested preferences settings.
