Firewall Configuration
If you cannot log in to Second Life, you may need to configure your computer's firewall. This is especially true if you are trying to connect to Second Life from a computer at a hospital or other workplace, where the internet connections are typically protected by a corporate firewall.
The links below provide information for you to configure your personal firewall and also for your workplace IT staff to configure a corporate firewall.
