The flying seagull is the SOAR symbol and reminds students that they can "soar" above problems they may encounter on a university campus if they seek out the help available. The programs in SOAR are designed to assist students to succeed in the classroom and to make their experience at UTA a meaningful one.
Welcome to SOAR Learning Services at UTA! SOAR is an academic support department whose sole purpose is to assist students in achieving their academic goals at the University.
We provide tutoring, counseling, seminars, graduate school preparation, Supplemental Instruction, course reviews, study groups and other support services by trained staff who are dedicated to helping our students reach their full academic potential. Please come by to visit us! |
