The flying seagull is the SOAR symbol and reminds students that they can "soar" above problems they may encounter on a university campus if they seek out the help available. The programs in SOAR are designed to assist students to succeed in the classroom and to make their experience at UTA a meaningful one.

SOAR Cost-Share is currently hiring tutors for the Fall 2008 semester.

We provide tutoring, counseling, seminars, graduate school preparation, Supplemental Instruction, course reviews, study groups and other support services by trained staff who are dedicated to helping our students reach their full academic potential.
