Practice Expertise:
Dr. Elliston has been in the social work field since 1980. She has extensive experience in medical social work, trauma, family violence and sexual assault. At this time she is the director of Victim Intervention Program / Rape Crisis at Parkland Health & Hospital System where she writes grants, manages the clinic budget, trains and supervises clinical and emergency reponse staff, trains medical professionals, and provides expert testimony in criminal and civil cases. During the last 15 years, she has specialized in victimization and trauma.
