Doctoral students, Anh Phuong Nguyen and Cecilia Mengo, apply gel to the EEG cap of a study participant as part of cross-disciplinary study with the College of Engineering, Psychology, Education and Social Work.  Both students are involved in pilot research to explore the electrocortical and cardiovascular activities during anger and happiness stimuli in a sample of 40 voluntary students. This pilot data is the beginning of a long-term goal to develop a neuro-feedback training protocol and wearable hardware through wireless EEG that might help regulate the emotions of anger in men charged with domestic violence.

They are supervised by Drs.  Anne Nordberg and Peter Lehmann.
