
The Certificate in Gerontology focuses on the biological,
psychological (mental), social, policy, and ethical aspects of aging. This
certificate program consist of five 3-hour online courses that combined will
complete the Gerontology Certificate Program. These courses are available as
stand-alone courses for anyone to participate in and receive continuing
education credit to apply toward CEU licensing and renewal requirements. A
CEU certificate will be issued at the completion of each course.
If you have enrolled in the Gerontology Certificate Program, you
must successfully complete all five online courses within 6 months from your
enrollment date to receive a certificate. This certificate is documentation
indicating you have completed a specific program of gerontological
education.
If you are not enrolled in the certificate program, you have 30 days to
complete the course(s) when taking them individually.
