YWCA Fort Worth and Tarrant County has an immediate opening for the position of Grant Writer.
The YWCA is a social service organization working to move women and their families out of poverty. This position is responsible for all aspects of government grant and contract writing to include researching, prioritizing, and writing. The writer will work with the team to set up management and administration protocols for successful proposals.
Qualified candidates must have: Masters of Public Health, Master of Social Work degree or equivalent required. Three years of experience required and five years is preferred. To be considered, applicant must have at least one successful federal proposal for which he or she was the primary writer; additional successful funding, including state and United Way applications are a plus
