Duties:
Patient intake (qualifies patients to receive DME), trains and coordinates efforts of intake volunteers, collaborates with Senior Technician and other DME Exchange managers, communicates with case managers and social workers throughout Dallas County. Receive and screen phone calls from the public and client referral sources. Secure needed HIPPA and DME documentation.
Qualifications:
Current LBSW or LMSW license, Bilingual in English/Spanish, demonstrated familiarity with the needs of unfunded and underfunded patients in Dallas County, some supervisory experience, experience training employees, excellent collaboration skills, computer literacy, driver’s license and personal auto liability coverage
Required Training and Certifications:
Maintenance of current LBSW or LMSW license, ongoing training in DME procedures, management and governmental regulations
Reports To:
Executive Director
Work Hours:
16-20 hours per week, including full coverage on-site Tues/Thurs 9 am to 3 pm and ½ Day on Wednesday or Saturday
Compensation: $20 to $25/hour depending upon qualifications and experience
