Purpose:
Therapist FULL TIME position. Some of the duties include: working within a multidisciplinary team environment to provide mental health screening, intake assessment, crisis counseling support, suicide and risk assessment, and case coordination for individuals incarcerated in the Tarrant County Jail. Some knowledge of DSM-IV and its useage as it relates to identifying Bipolar, Depression, and Schizophrenia is highly desired. Some knowledge of a couple of the common medications used for each diagnosis is also preferred.
Requirements:
Masters degree with major course work in human services field. Current license or temporary license with the State of Texas to provide counseling as a LPC, LPC-I, LMFT or LCSW. Must be willing to work Tuesday thru Saturday 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.
Note: LMSW is also accepted. However, you are responsible to get set up on an LCSW supervision plan ASAP after hire.
Valid Texas drivers license and good driving record.
