Family Intervention and Parenting Classes

The next New Connections class session begins August 18th and ends October 22nd. This session will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am – 1:30 pm.

Parents will receive Dallas County’s most comprehensive parenting class, plus health education, recovery support and help connecting with community services.

Specific services include:

  • Recovery-sensitive parent education (2054 required)
  • Substance abuse prevention curriculum for children 3 to 5
  • Health education
  • Recovery support groups
  • Child care for children, age 0 to 3

Children, age 0 to 5, are encouraged to attend with their parents!

Children, age 3 to 5, will receive specific substance abuse prevention programming.

To refer a family, please complete a referral form and mark the New Connections program check box.
