AIDS Arms is seeking a Behavioral Intervention Specialist to conduct outreach activities, provide community based education about prevention of HIV, sexually transmitted diseases and substance abuse, and conduct HIV testing.
Requirements are a Bachelor’s degree in public health, health education, social work or related field; minimum two years experience working with a behavioral health or social service organization in a service delivery position; knowledge of substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, and hepatitis; ability to work a modified schedule that includes evenings and weekends; willingness and ability to travel within and outside the state of Texas.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
