Intake Coordinator

PROGRAM: Turtle Creek Recovery Center
JOB SUMMARY
The Intake Coordinator is responsible for providing Clinical screenings and assessments for clients seeking substance abuse and mental health treatment. Responsibilities include: Screens clients for potential admissions; Responsible for obtaining initial authorizations from insurance and managed care organizations; Responsible for concurrent reviews to assure continued funding as appropriate; Serve as liaison between TCRC and referral sources; Coordinate intake procedures ; Facilitate program and referral information; Other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Required skills and knowledge: Knowledge of chemical addiction and/or mental health preferred;
Knowledge of dual diagnosis treatment preferred; Knowledge of insurance authorization processes.;
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, and database software
Pre-employment drug screening and background check required

QUALIFICATIONS
LMSW, LCDC experience with mental health and substance abuse treatment preferred.

WORK HOURS AND LOCATION
40 hour work week, on call rotation every 6 weeks Located in Dallas
