The Too Good For Drugs Program is currently accepting resumes for Prevention Educator position. The program is designed to assist youth in making smart decisions regarding alcohol, tobacco, drug abuse, and healthy living/choices.
The Prevention Educator is responsible for implementing the Too Good For Drugs curriculum and program.
Prevention Educator duties include, but not limited to: assist in planning, organizing, and implementing TGFD program and coordinate activities with schools, the Club, and the community; promote and stimulate community interest in the program; recruit participants; conduct presentations to youth, parents, small groups, large groups, and special events; assist in the evaluation of program activities and results; plan program activities; and the like.
Bachelor’s Degree required in social work or related field. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working with youth.
Must be able to pass agency and ISD background at any time. Must have reliable transportation, liability insurance, and possess a valid Texas driver’s license for operation of motor vehicle relevant to the performance of duties. Bilingual preferred.
