Join the UT Arlington Community for The Big Event. This day of community service and outreach involves students, faculty, staff and members of the community in an effort to engage and mobilize volunteers throughout the Metroplex. All participants will receive lunch, a The Big Event T-shirt, and a raffle ticket for door prizes. All events run from 8:00 am to 12 Noon on Saturday, April 12, 2008 unless otherwise indicated. The Thank You BBQ runs from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 pm on the University Center mall (300 West First Street). In case of rain, please check this website for updated information between 7:00 am and 8:00 am Saturday morning. Many of the indoor projects will still be on. If your project is cancelled, volunteers are still invited to the BBQ on the UC Mall (rainsite is the Bluebonnet Ballroom inside the University Center). Please call 817-272-2963 with any questions.
