Opportunity:

If you love Texas History and you like to give tours there are two different types of opportunities available through the Dallas Historical Society at the Hall of State. Depending on available time, the two options are for a general tour guide (weekends and adult groups) or for a more in-depth training docents are needed to lead school groups and specialized interest groups. Tour guides have a generalized knowledge of the Hall of State. Docent training requires ongoing training in order to keep abreast of the ever-changing events and exhibits, as well as Texas Educational requirements An exciting volunteer opportunity with the Dallas Historical Society is available during the State Fair of Texas. To volunteer for the State Fair please contact us via email and we will get back with you. There will be a volunteer orientation days before the opening.
