Description:
The Salvation Army Arlington Center is a program designed to help stabilize homeless families and teach them the necessary skills to live independently in the community. Basic needs such as food, shelter and childcare are provided, while independent living skills are taught through educational workshops, counseling, and community resource networking. The Arlington Corps Community Center is a neighborhood center for worship, education, recreation, music and community activity. The center provides after-school and summer youth programs for children of all ages. Youth activities include indoor/outdoor games and arts and crafts that are all supervised by adults.
